Welcome to Montalcino, welcome to the heart of Tuscany! The Sassodisole winery reflects the will of the Terzuoli family in seeking the right combination of innovation and respect for Montalcino winemaking. Ten hectares of vineyards are cultivated entirely with Sangiovese Grosso in the northeastern part of Montalcino within the UNESCO park of Val d’Orcia.

This Tuscany wine tasting experience includes:
- Warm welcome at the winery and presentation of the Terzuoli family;
- Explanation of the location of the SassodiSole winery - within the territory of Montalcino and in the UNESCO Natural Park of Val d' Orcia;
- Visit to the winemaking cellar and explanation of fermentation and aging processes in steel;
- Visit to the barrel cellar with an explanation of the peculiarities of aging in large barrels, presentation of SassodiSole labels and wines;

Finally, you will take a seat in the tasting room of Sassodisole and taste 3 wines:
- Rosé Sparkling Wine
- Orcia Sangiovese DOC
- Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

Everything will be paired with Tuscan cold cuts, Pecorino cheese from Pienza, and bruschetta with olive oil.

What a blast!!

We were lucky to have good weather, the place was very beautiful and welcoming upon arrival.
The guy who took us on the tour of the winery was very evocative and interesting, especially with the story he told.
Afterwards, we went into a tasting room, where we were able to taste 3 wines with the addition of cured meats and cheeses to contrast the aromas of the wine.
It was a beautiful experience, I recommend it to everyone.
