Traditional Greek food in hidden Athens

We will take you on an exploration to the centre of Athens food markets where your food tour adventure will begin!

You will sample 20+ tastings of Greek products including a meal at a street meze taverna where the locals eat.  We will offer traditional Greek food with meat, fish, sea food,  seasonal vegetables and more. 

Indulge in  pies, Greek coffee, traditional sweets, souvlaki, olives, and yoghurt.

All of our tastings take place in local producers’ shops, restaurants and market stalls.

We will introduce you to a fantastic family-owned honey store run by the beekeeper to taste different honeys and meet an olive oil producer and taste his award winning extra virgin olive oil.

We will visit the non touristic food market area which is 130 years old and is steeped in Athenian history. You will be absorbed in our shopping and eating culture!

You will learn the history of the foods that Greek people eat every day and Greek culture and lifestyle from local people who have lived in Athens all their lives!
