Here is what's in store for you
Embark on an exhilarating journey with us to Mount Etna!
The experience begins on board our 4x4 jeep or 9-seater van that will take us up to an altitude of around 2000 meters above sea level with fantastic views. There, our environmental guide will tell us the stories and legends associated with the Etna villages and our volcano.
Then, we head to the heart of our excursion: a gentle trek along an exciting route through birch, pine, and broom forests that will take us to discover lunar landscapes and lava fields. We will walk on the edge of ancient, now-extinct craters, where we will enjoy truly unique views. Equipped with torches and helmets provided by us, we will visit a volcanic cave where our guide will explain the fascinating phenomena that led to its formation.
Finish your adventure with a visit to an ancient winery where you'll enjoy a carefully curated wine-tasting experience led by English-speaking AIS Sommeliers and ONAV Tasters. Indulge in this wine experience with a selection of white and red wines, including Grillo, Carricante/Catarratto, Nero d'Avola and Nerello Mascalese. This is accompanied by tastings of Sicilian delights chosen by the winery, such as preserves in oil, typical Sicilian cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, cured meats, extra virgin and flavored olive oil, seasonal vegetables, natural water, and bread.
