Starting from the stunning Villa Venier in Sommacampagna, we invite you on a journey through the Custoza Morainic Hills. Cycling along quiet backroads and country paths, you’ll immerse yourself in a unique natural landscape and step back in history.
Explore charming villages where time stands still, such as Custoza—renowned for its DOC wine and famous Risorgimento battlefields—and Borghetto sul Mincio, officially one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. You will discover historic villas and courtyards that witnessed the epic clashes between Austrian and Italian forces, all under the watchful gaze of the Ossuary of Custoza.
The experience continues with a scenic light lunch featuring local treasures: white Custoza DOC, red Bardolino, and artisanal cured meats, cheeses, and jams. You’ll be welcomed into a warm, family atmosphere where love for the land and simple hospitality turn a meal into a collection of stories.

Meeting point: Sommacampagna, at Villa Venier in Via 2 Giugno. Directions: Take the Sommacampagna exit on the A4 highway.
Free parking is available at the Sommacampagna sports fields.
