Wine Tasting with Local Products at Poggio Mori Winery in the Sienese Hills
Here is what's in store for you
This fine wine experience will allow you to discover the Poggio Mori Winery, a small organic family-run winery located in Sarteano (SI), Tuscany.
At Poggio Mori, a high-density planting system was chosen, with 8800 vine stocks per hectare, trained on Guyot. In the vineyard, yields per hectare are deliberately kept low, so that the clusters destined for processing, harvested well ripe and selected in the field, are healthy and rich in organoleptic properties. All work in the vineyards, from pruning to harvest, is done manually.
With this experience, you will have the opportunity to taste Poggio Mori's wines,, including their selections Il Capriolo Bianco and Poggio Mori aged in terracotta amphorae and barriques. The wine tasting will be accompanied by a platter of cheeses, local cured meats, and bruschetta with the winery's organic extra virgin olive oil.
