Enjoy a tasting of classic Langhe wines with this experience at Cantina Stroppiana.

The experience begins with a tour of the winery premises, followed, if you'd like, by a walk through the San Giacomo vineyard, the winery's historic vineyard from which one of the estate's most representative Barolos is produced.

After the tour, you will take a seat in Cantina Stroppiana's recently renovated tasting room where one of the family members will take you on an emotional, sensory, and educational journey that will lead you to discover the winery's history, wines, production method, philosophy and vision. The tasting includes 5 wines; three Langhe classics (chosen between Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nascetta, and Langhe Nebbiolo), followed by two Barolos. The wines will be accompanied by toasted hazelnuts, Baci di Dama and Brutti ma Buoni (typical cookies), breadsticks, and bread.

The owner of the winery explained the background of the Stroppiana winery, the process, and the wines to us in great detail.
We tried 5 different wines and for each wine, there were detailed explanations.
Many thanks to Leonardo, who very competently introduced us to the world of Barolo.

Excellent tasting

Upon arriving at our destination, we were welcomed by the owner who explained his work with passion.
We were completely captivated, fascinated.

Like family

Beyond the professionalism and care in showing us the winery, telling us the history of the territory and in the wine tasting, what struck us was the wonderful atmosphere of a family-run business.
