Lunch and Tasting in the heart of the Langhe at Agricola Marrone

My first experience having lunch at a winery. Pleasant and interesting, I expected an even bigger cellar. The food was good, the staff knowledgeable.

We gave a couple of our friends the tasting + lunch experience at the Marrone winery for their birthday. In the end, the 4 of us joined as well. First of all, the first positive impression is at the entrance because you are welcomed in a very warm manner and it's like becoming part of the family. Then a very knowledgeable girl gathers us for the cellar tour, who takes us into the splendid world of viticulture and winemaking, telling us the origins of everything that appears before our eyes. The visit ends on the terrace where you can admire the expanse of the Barolo hills and the Cedar of Lebanon which is its symbol. It then continues with the tasting of wines paired with lunch. The wines are excellent and the intensity of their aromas is striking; we chose the "Three Sisters" pairing. The food is well-prepared and faithful to the culinary tradition of the region. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The experience we had was fantastic from every point of view.
Paola's welcome, who was able to make us feel immediately at home by creating a family atmosphere, the indulgent lunch, and the stellar wines we tasted.
We left feeling nostalgic and we can't wait to come back.
