Strolling in Verona with 2 local wines tastings
Here is what's in store for you
Together with a local guide, you will walk through the historical centre of Verona and, beyond the story, you will hear about trivia of the Veronese lifestyle. From one of the largest amphitheaters in Italy, the Arena, to the balcony that inspired Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Take in the atmosphere of historic neighborhoods, as the Sottoriva area, the Bishop quarter, and Corso Cavour. You will end the tour at Castelvecchio on the fascinating Scaligeri Bridge.
Along the tour, two wine tastings are unmissable moments. You will stop in local and familiar wine shops, typical wine bars, and hosteria where you will experience the Veronese wine lifestyle. It will be a wine journey through the white local wine, Lugana, Custoza e Soave to the Chiaretto rosè and the worldwide famous Valpolicella, Ripasso, and finally the king Amarone. Do not forget to bite some cicchetti, meatballs, or sopressa sandwiches.
Combine the millennial history of this romantic city with its food and wine culture.
