This wonderful experience at La Veneranda will make you discover the beauty and traditions of Montefalco: during your tasting, the winery’s team will make you feel as you were part of the family.

Upon your arrival at La Veneranda, you will be introduced to the history of the estate. Next, it will be time for you to get a comfortable seat in the tasting room of La Veneranda. The tasting will consist of 8 of their wines paired with delicacies of their production: fresh pecorino cheese with white wine jelly, aged pecorino cheese with red wine jelly, bruschetta with Cannara onion, prosciutto and pizza bianca, bruschetta with porcini sauce, lentil and truffle sauce, bruschetta with oil, Crostino della Veneranda, salami and dry sausage, and Tozzetti (local biscuits).

The wines that you will be tasting are: Annae Vino Spumante Brut, Montefalco DOC Grechetto, Federico II IGT Rosato, a new label to be discovered, Montefalco DOC Rosso, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Elli Umbria IGT Rosso, and Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG Passito.

Fantastic experience, one to repeat
We were gifted the complete tasting of 8 wines accompanied by local bites… truly an incredible experience!
The welcome, the wines, the food, and the owner's explanation were perfect. Time flew by even though we stayed for more than three hours; everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail and even the wines tasted definitely exceeded our expectations.
An experience that I warmly recommend to all lovers of good wine and good food!
