Here is what's in store for you
We have crafted a wine tour that intertwines a visit to Montserrat Natural Park with a farmhouse-style lunch and a family-owned winery at Penedés. Our small group day tours from Barcelona offer a more intimate experience, enabling you to evade large crowds and relish the expertise of our guides.
Our journey commences at 8:15 am from our office opposite the Palau de la Musica building and takes approximately an hour to reach Montserrat. Upon arrival, you'll have free time to explore the area, with options to traverse hiking trails, take a rack railway or cable car ride for breathtaking views, and visit chapels and hermitages.
After our time in Montserrat, we'll venture to a delightful farmhouse nestled amidst the vineyards of Priorat DOCQ, for a traditional 3-course lunch complemented by house wine. The menu features Mediterranean dishes such as cod, chicken, sausages, and steak. Availability will vary according to the season.
Following lunch, we'll pay a visit to Pares Balta Winery in the Penedès wine-growing region. You'll amble through the vineyards and gain insights into their biodynamic winemaking practices, culminating in a wine tasting showcasing four of their wines, including the renowned sparkling cava wine. Additionally, you will taste local olive oil.
