After meeting your English-speaking driver directly at your cruise ship, you'll head to Volterra, a captivating hilltop town known for its Etruscan roots and Roman ruins. Enjoy free time to explore its acropolis, Roman theater, and charming historic center.
Next, continue to a local family-run Tuscan farm where you'll experience a genuine wine and food experience. Learn about the wine-making process, taste five local wines including Chianti, Chianti Riserva, Vernaccia, and Sangiovese, and enjoy a three-course lunch featuring homemade pasta, bruschette, pecorino cheese, local cold cuts, extra virgin olive oil, and truffle oil.
