Market & Cooking Experience in the Heart of Florence
Here is what's in store for you
In the heart of Florence, this experience offers a complete and engaging way to discover the city through its food, traditions, and daily rhythms. Designed for travelers who want to go beyond sightseeing, it combines a visit to a local market with a hands-on Tuscan cooking class, for a truly authentic immersion into Florentine cuisine.
The experience lasts around five hours and begins with a guided walk through one of Florence’s most characteristic markets. Among colorful stalls and local vendors, you’ll learn how Italians shop for fresh, seasonal ingredients and how to recognize quality products. After selecting the ingredients together, you’ll move on to a practical cooking class led by a professional chef in a warm and informal setting.
Using what you’ve just purchased, you will prepare a complete Tuscan menu: an appetizer, handmade pasta with sauce, a meat main course with vegetables, and a traditional dessert. The class is interactive and suitable for everyone, with the chef guiding you step by step and sharing useful techniques and local culinary tips. Water and wine are included during the activity.
The experience ends with the best part: sitting down together to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared, sharing a relaxed and convivial moment that captures the true spirit of Tuscan hospitality.
