Private Full-Day Tour of Chianti's Castle-Wineries with Lunch, from Florence

Your private, full-day tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Florence, where you'll meet your certified sommelier and guide for the day. You'll travel into the heart of the Chianti Classico region for a journey through Tuscan history and its most renowned wine styles.

The day is dedicated to exploring three historic castle-wineries. While the itinerary can vary based on availability, it often includes estates like Castello della Paneretta, Castello di Tornano, and Castello La Leccia. At each property, your guide will lead you on a tour to discover its unique winemaking approach. Following the visit, you will take part in a guided tasting of 3-4 of their wines. Over the course of the day, you will sample approximately 10 wines, including styles like Chianti Classico, Riserva, Gran Selezione, and Super Tuscans.

At one of the castles, the experience continues with a three-course Tuscan lunch, served either in the tasting room or on the terrace. The seasonal menu typically features an appetizer of local cheeses, Prosciutto, and Pappa al Pomodoro, followed by a fresh pasta course and a classic dessert. The tour is private and can be adapted for families. Lunch and a soft drink will be served for participants under 18.

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your accommodation in Florence.
