Full-day Arrábida Wine Tour from Lisbon
Here is what's in store for you
Join this small-group full-day wine tour and explore the wonderful Portuguese wine region of Arrábida!
Leaving Lisbon by the Vasco da Gama bridge (the longest in Europe), your first stop will be at the castle of Palmela – a great opportunity to take some amazing photos. Then you'll visit a beautiful local family-owned winery located in the heart of the Arrábida park where you'll enjoy a tasting of 4 local wines.
After the first winery visit, you will drive along the mountains of the Arrábida Natural Park (500m peak) to admire the spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean. Next, it will be time to stop for lunch at the fishing village of Sesimbra. After lunch, you'll enjoy a guided tour of the Casa Museu José Maria da Fonseca, one of the oldest wine producers of Portugal, still in the same family, followed by a tasting of 2 wines.
Your last stop will be at the famous Cristo-Rei (Christ statue) with a stunning view of the surroundings. Finally, you'll return to Lisbon by crossing the 25th de April Bridge to enjoy the last sightseeing of the day.
