Family Safari on Mount Etna with Wine Tasting at Favazza Winery

The Family Safari – Shared Tour is an experience on Mount Etna designed for families with children, ideal for discovering the volcano in a safe, fun and educational way.

The tour takes place inside Bio Parco Cubania, a private property of approximately 40 hectares located within the Etna Park, accessible exclusively with specialized guides and authorized vehicles.

The experience begins at Favazza Etna Winery, the meeting point and departure location of the tour. After a welcome breakfast and a short introductory briefing, guests set off aboard shared Land Rover Defender vehicles together with other participants.

The route crosses vineyards, historic lava flows and volcanic forests, with short stops and easy walks suitable for children. The guide accompanies the group with a simple and engaging narrative, focusing on flora, fauna and the transformations of the volcanic landscape.

The tour includes panoramic stops overlooking the 1928 and 1971 lava flows, a stop at a centuries-old tree grown on lava, and a view of the entrance to a lava flow cave.

At the end of the excursion, guests return to the winery for a tasting: four glasses of Favazza wines for adults and non-alcoholic alternatives for children, such as fresh vegetable and fruit extracts from our organic garden.

Inside the winery, families are free to explore the property and its beautiful spaces.
