Join the Pestoury family for an authentic and immersive wine experience just outside Bordeaux. This guided tour at Vignoble Pestoury is hosted by a family member—Isabelle, Bertrand, or most often their daughter Marie—who will welcome you into the heart of their 5-generation vineyard.
The visit begins with an introduction to the Bordeaux region and its 65 appellations, helping you understand the rich diversity of local wines. Weather permitting, you'll start the tour outdoors among the vines, where you’ll learn about grape varieties, terroir, and the organic farming practices that Vignoble Pestoury has embraced since 2020.
Next, step into the winemaking cellar to explore each stage of the production process, from fermentation to aging. You'll discover how different barrels and tanks influence the character of their wines.
The highlight of the visit is a guided tasting of Vignoble Pestoury’s full wine range: dry and sweet whites, rosé, several Côtes de Bordeaux reds, sparkling wines, and their house-made grape juice (depending on availability). The tasting is accompanied by tips on how to observe, smell, and taste wine like a pro.
Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just curious, this warm and personal experience is tailored to your level of interest, offering a deep dive into Bordeaux wine culture in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
