Exlusive Winemaker-led Wine Tasting by Meritxell at Meritxell Pallejá

This extraordinary wine tasting experience is the result of a family project started by Meritxell in 2004, when she introduced NITA, a young and vibrant wine that quickly gained popularity in Barcelona’s wine bars. At the age of 30, in 2007, Meritxell began planting her own vineyards, and in 2014, she and her partner embarked on the adventure of producing wines from four vineyards in Gratallops. Together, they manage both the winery and the olive groves and vineyards.

In 2015, they acquired an exceptional Carignan vineyard dating back to 1969, which has since produced the outstanding Carignan wine that you will have the pleasure of tasting in Gratallops. In addition to wine, Meritxell and her family also produce grape syrup and other concentrates made from figs and carob.
