Exlusive Winemaker-led Wine Tasting by Meritxell at Meritxell Pallejá

This extraordinary wine tasting experience is a product of a family project initiated by Meritxell in 2004 when she introduced NITA, a young and vibrant wine that quickly gained popularity in Barcelona's wine bars. At the age of 30, Meritxell began planting her own vineyards, and in 2007, she and her partner ventured into vinifying wines from four vineyards in Gratallops. Together, they manage both the winery and the olive and vine fields.

In 2015, they acquired a remarkable Carignan vineyard dating back to 1969, which has since produced the exceptional Carignan wine you'll have the pleasure of tasting in Gratallops. Beyond wine, Meritxell and her family also produce grape syrup and other fruit concentrates.

This tasting event provides a unique opportunity to engage with the winemaker herself and gain insights into the rich history, craftsmanship, and dedication that goes into creating these outstanding wines.
