One of the best places to enjoy an authentic wine tasting experience in the Langhe is Cà Neuva Winery by Abbona Sergio, located in the heart of this extraordinary wine region.
The Langhe is a landscape of rolling vineyard-covered hills and ancient medieval villages, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014 thanks to its breathtaking beauty and centuries-old winemaking tradition.
The winery is located in Dogliani, in the province of Cuneo, just 35 minutes from Alba and 50 minutes from Asti. Wine is the true protagonist here, and during this experience, you will enjoy a complete tasting journey through 7 different wines:
- Roero Arneis DOCG, a delicate yet structured white wine with lingering notes of honey and almond
- Dogliani DOCG Sambu Riserva, characterized by aromas of red berries and an intense purple color
- Dogliani DOCG Superiore, with fruity aromas of berries, cherries, and plums
- Piemonte Barbera DOC, a well-structured wine with elegant aromas enhanced by short barrel aging
- Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, delicate and refined with notes of raspberries and wild berries
- Barolo DOCG, a rich and intense meditation wine with garnet-red color and complex aromas
- Langhe Rosso DOC Excelso, soft and spicy with hints of wood and a balanced acidity
The tasting is accompanied by a selection of local specialties, including tuna sauce, raw salami, pancetta, lard, Tuma cheese, and the traditional sweet delicacy Cugnà.
The experience also includes a guided tour of the winery with an in-depth explanation of the winemaking process.

The tasting was impeccable in every aspect: excellent wines, described with an engaging presentation that truly manages to capture your attention and make you appreciate every nuance.
The quality of the wines is very high: even though they were labels I already knew and had tasted on other occasions, here I found that something extra, a detail, a balance, a personality that made them even more memorable.
The food accompaniment also deserves a special mention: original, well-prepared, and above all, delicious. Each pairing was thoughtfully designed and enhanced the wines perfectly.
The idea of the picnic with wine and a charcuterie board was wonderful and absolutely to be repeated: a relaxing, pleasant, and perfect moment to disconnect from the daily frenzy, immersed in a simple yet refined atmosphere.
An experience I recommend without hesitation and that I can't wait to do again.
