Deluxe Visit and Wine Tasting at Piazzo Winery in Langhe

We were kindly welcomed by Mrs. Nelly who asked us for some information useful for her to tailor her explanation. She accompanied us to see the cellar, told us the family's story and with passion and sweetness guided us in getting to know the Piazzo wines. The table setting was very well-kept, with water, a change of glasses for each wine, and some small pieces of cheese and salami as well as hazelnuts to pair with the different wines. The idea of letting customers choose the wine to taste was lovely. The quality of the wines was excellent, as was the accompanying food and the breadsticks.
To make the visit even more memorable, I would add a little surprise at the end of the tasting: a glass of sparkling wine, or a teaspoon of hazelnut cream or something else to be the last gift given to the customers.
