Sancerre Duo: Eric Louis Winery Tour and Tasting & Bête Noire Goat Farm
Here is what's in store for you
First, you will visit the winery Eric Louis: a journey at the heart of the winemaking process of Sancerre wines. You will know everything about the harvest, the ageing of the wines, and then ... their taste! You will taste 5 wines from Sancerre, paired with 2 maturations of the local goat cheese, Crottin de Chavignol.
After this great immersive experience, we suggest that you go to the goat farm. Located within a 5-minute drive from Eric Louis Winery, you will have a self-guided tour of the farm. You will learn about the cheese-making process, the goat lifestyle, and you will taste a cheese plate with several maturations: from the youngest and freshest cheese to the driest one.
Also, you will be allowed to walk in the parks of the farm, meeting some animals: retired goats, donkeys, ducks... Even a lama! You can pet the animals with respect for their well-being.
