Masseria Torricella
First of all, the booking service, done via Winedering, was excellent. We arrived at 7 PM and a young man accompanied us to discover the vineyards, telling us the history and philosophy of the winery, which produces typically Apulian wines on about 20 hectares.
After a pleasant walk through the vineyards at sunset, we visited the winery, with the barrels and various machinery, and then moved on to the tasting of four wines: a white, a rosé, and two reds.
The wines were accompanied by products made directly by their agritourism: excellent cured meats and cheeses, honey, preserves, and vegetables, all of their own production. A simple yet very careful tasting, perfectly in tune with the territory.
The tasting was guided by a truly knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate young woman, who told us about the wines with competence and great enthusiasm.
At the end we also had the opportunity to buy some of their wines directly in the winery's shop.
An authentic and well-organized experience that combines wine, territory, sunset, and local products. Absolutely recommended!
Everything was very good. A suggestion: my partner is lactose intolerant and they were prepared to handle it even though I hadn't reported it! Perhaps it is present and I hadn't noticed it during the booking phase; if not, adding an alert wouldn't be a bad idea.
Nectar of the gods in a masseria
Pleasant moment
The wine tasting with the accompaniments was very good and makes for a great aperitif! We recommend this experience.
