Welcome to OENO HOW, a unique wine tasting venue located in Thissio, in the historic center of Athens, just a few steps from the Acropolis.
Your experience begins in a warm and intimate setting with an engaging introduction to Greek wine culture. Learn about the rich history of winemaking in Greece, its role in both ancient and modern times, and the traditions that have shaped one of the world’s oldest wine cultures.
You will then enjoy a guided tasting of 5 carefully selected wines made from native grape varieties (3 whites and 2 reds), chosen to represent different Greek wine regions. Each wine is presented in a simple and enjoyable way, focusing on aromas, style, terroir, and the story behind every glass.
The tasting is accompanied by a selection of Greek cheeses and breadsticks, enhancing the authenticity of the experience.

Where we are and how to reach us
OENO HOW is located at Nileos 24, Thissio, Athens, in the historic center of Athens, close to the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, Psyrri, and Monastiraki. The venue is easy to find and pleasant to reach on foot, surrounded by lively pedestrian areas, cafés, restaurants, and neoclassical buildings.
It is very easy to access by public transport. We are approximately 5 minutes walking distance from Thissio Station (Green Line / ISAP) and around 10 minutes walking distance from Kerameikos Metro Station. From Monastiraki and Psyrri, the venue is also within comfortable walking distance.
Guests arriving by taxi or private car can be dropped off directly near Nileos Street. Street parking may be available nearby depending on time and traffic, and paid parking options can also be found in central Athens. Due to our central location, walking, public transport, or taxi is the most convenient way to reach us.
