From Athens: Wine Tour and Tasting Experience in Kapandriti

Hello! My name is Lena, and I’ll be your host for this wine tour. I started offering wine experiences in Northern Greece, and after welcoming so many wonderful guests there, I’m now expanding to Athens to continue sharing my love for Greek wine. As an experienced host and genuine wine enthusiast, I’m here to make your day enjoyable, educational, and relaxed.

Your experience begins with a private pickup from your location in Athens, followed by a smooth drive of about 45 minutes to one hour, depending on where you’re staying. Once we arrive in Kapandriti, we’ll start at the Wine Museum, where we will guide you through the rich history of Greek winemaking. Together, we’ll explore traditional tools, learn about ancient techniques, and discover how wine has shaped Greek culture for centuries. It’s a fun and interactive introduction that sets the perfect atmosphere for what comes next.

We’ll then move to the tasting area for a guided tasting of 5 premium wines, each selected to highlight different Greek varietals and styles. I’ll walk you through every glass, sharing stories, aromas, and tasting notes in a simple and enjoyable way. Your wines will be paired with a cheese platter and breadsticks, making the experience even more flavorful and balanced.

After the tasting, I’ll drive you back to your location in Athens, giving you time to relax and enjoy the ride. This experience is designed to feel personal, welcoming, and memorable—combining wine, culture, and warm Greek hospitality right here in Kapandriti.
