Animal farm and aromas garden experience at Augustali Winery

At the Augustali Farm, we will welcome you among the paths leading to the olive grove, vineyard, and organically grown citrus orchard for a pleasant nature walk.

The first stop of your experience will be in the farm's aromatic garden to enjoy a sensory game to discover the main aromatic plants of the Mediterranean. We will prepare together a small aromatic bouquet that you will take home with you.

We will then visit the animal area together, to learn up close about the curiosities and habits of Pantelleria donkeys, dwarf horses, Girgentan goats, docile bunnies, and friendly geese, ducks, and chickens. It will be exciting to milk the baby goat and feed the animals. We'll then move to the farm's vast meadow to meet the docile donkey Augusta: beside her, we will stroll while admiring the centuries-old olive trees, flowering arches, and rare plants. The braying of the other donkeys will tell us that it is time to accompany Augusta back to the paddock.

A rich and genuine farmer's snack will await you: homemade bread with honey, extra virgin olive oil, and juice for the little ones. On the garden veranda or in the winery tasting room, we will also prepare for you a platter with five Sicilian specialties produced on the farm. All enhanced by the tasting of two of our Sicilian wines that evokes all the warmth of the Mediterranean.
