Wine Lover Tour and Tasting at Herencia Altés in Terra Alta

This experience at Herència Altés is designed for wine lovers who want to deepen their understanding of the land, the winemaking process, and the stories behind each bottle.

You will begin with a walk through the estate’s nearly century-old Garnatxa Blanca vineyards at Lo Grau de l’Inquisidor, discovering the grape varieties and the key elements that define Herència Altés. Along the way, you will also learn about the winery’s environmental project focused on restoring native plant and animal species.

During the tour, you’ll explore why Garnatxa has become the most iconic grape variety of the region, and gain insight into concepts such as Single Vineyard wines and Qualified Single Vineyard Wines of Catalonia.

The experience continues at the winery, where you will discover the winemaking and aging techniques used at Herència Altés, before concluding with a guided tasting of four of the estate’s most representative wines: La Xalamera, La Serra Blanc, La Serra Negre, and Lo Grau de l’Inquisidor.

The tasting is accompanied by a small selection of local food products such as curred meats, cheese, toasted almonds, etc.
