Vintage Motorcycle Sidecar wine tour in Chianti Classico from Florence

Enjoy a sidecar ride in Chianti Classico and visit one of our favorite winemakers for a delightful light lunch and wine-tasting experience.

Starting from Bar Pasticceria Gamberini in Florence, this unique tour gives you the chance to enjoy the highlights of the city, with a focus on the district of Oltrarno, before we leave towards the Chianti countryside. Riding along the medieval walls we'll see two of the old "porte" (gates) to the historical city center, then we'll drive up to San Miniato al Monte Church for an amazing view over the city. Then it will be time to depart in the direction of the Chianti Classico countryside with a 30/35 minute sidecar ride.

Once arrived in Chianti Classico, you will have the opportunity to meet one of our favorite small family-run wine farms and together with the winemaker, you will visit the winery, the vineyards, and the cellar. After the tour, you will enjoy a tasting of at least four wines accompanied by a delicious Tuscan lunch. Don’t worry, you can drink as much as you want, we’ll be driving! The lunch will consist of a starter with typical products like cheese and cold cuts, a typical Tuscan main course, and a dessert.

This sidecar tour experience will give you the chance to take some stunning pictures (and short movies if you can!) along some of the most beautiful streets and landscapes in the world, the Chianti Classico countryside, and taste some of the most famous Tuscan wines accompanied by tasty local products.

Other things to note: Our Vintage sidecars are "old and delicate ladies", so please, let us know your weight before we confirm the booking. Max weight for the 2 passengers allowed is 190 kgs (aprox. 420 lbs).
