Vineyard tour & Tasting at Château Cazebonne

Château Cazebonne is ready to welcome you for this unique experience!

Your visit will start with a guided tour of the vineyards, where you will discover the Saint-Macaire, Jurançon noir, and Mérille grape varieties. Don't worry if these names do not mean much to you yet, these are local grape varieties that were replanted at Château Cazebonne in order to preserve this rich local heritage. A detailed explanation of the history of Bordeaux wines and the reasons that led to the disappearance of these grape varieties will be explained to you.

Later, at the tasting, you will get to discover tastes that have been forgotten for more than a century. You will be served 6 cuvées of Château Cazebonne including the cuvée "Comme en 1900" (Like in 1990), a blend of 6 forgotten Bordeaux grape varieties.
