Here is what's in store for you

Discover the wonderful territory of Franciacorta with this tour, which includes a traditional lunch and a visit to two wineries with different styles: a premium large or boutique winery and a small family-run wine estate. The perfect experience for those guests who desire to live an exclusive wine experience accompanied by a wine expert for a day.

Around 9:00 AM you will meet your private driver at your accommodation in Milan. The drive in a comfortable Mercedes luxury car or minivan to Franciacorta takes about one hour. Once in Franciacorta, you will meet the wine tour leader that will assist you for the day.

Around 10:30 AM it will be time for the first cellar tour: The first stop will be at a premium winery, meaning a renowned historical winery, a boutique winery, or a large modern winery. The visit includes an introduction to the Franciacorta wine region, its history, and some facts about its development. The hospitality staff will illustrate the production method (the same as Champagne!), showing you the journey of the grapes through the cellar.
The guided visit, shared with small groups, will be followed by the first tasting of Franciacorta DOCG wines.

Around noon you will arrive at a charming little trattoria, where you will enjoy a three-course menù. Some typical dishes from the area are: manzo all’olio di Rovato, braised beef cooked slowly in olive oil served on a bed of polenta, Clusane’s baked stuffed tench, Franciacorta Risotto, or casoncelli (ravioli pasta stuffed with bread, cheese, and meat).

At about 3:00 PM it will be time for the second cellar tour. This time to a small family-run winery. There you'll have the chance to discover the producers' philosophy and the features of their beloved Franciacorta sparkling wines. At the end of the visit, you'll enjoy a second tasting of Franciacorta DOCG wines.

Around 4:45 PM you will start your way back to Milan, to return to your accommodation around 6:00. The itinerary could change according to availability.
Please note that the winery visits included in the offer are shared cellar tours (small groups of up to 15 people).
