Marsala Half-day Tour from Trapani: Winery visit, historic center and lagoon boat trip
Here is what's in store for you
Enjoy a tasting of Marsala wine at one of the most renowned wineries of the territory, get lost in the town's historic center, and end the day with a special lagoon boat trip.
The tour consists of 3 parts that blend well together. First of all, you will visit one of Marsala's most renowned wineries (Donnafugata, Pellegrino, Florio or Caruso and Mininni). Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasting of one white wine (among the native grape varieties of the Trapani area: Grillo, Inzolia, Catarratto, Grecanico, dry Zibibbo), one red (Perricone), one dry Marsala, and one Tagos.
Next, the tour continues with a visit to the beautiful city of Marsala, with its historic center, a city with a long history and from which "the Thousand" passed.
You will then continue aboard one of the typical boats to sail on the waters of the lagoon of the Stagnone reserve. Sailing gently on the lagoon waters you'll discover the history of Mothia, now an open-air museum, and the other islands, Isola Lunga, Schola, and Santa Maria.
