Enjoy an exclusive private wine experience in the heart of Crete, combining visits to two renowned family-run wineries with a traditional lunch in the Peza wine region.
The day begins with a pick-up around mid-morning and a scenic drive through the Cretan countryside. Your first stop is a boutique organic winery in the village of Kounavoi, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard, cellar, and production areas. During the visit, you’ll learn about indigenous Cretan grape varieties and traditional winemaking methods, followed by a guided tasting of five organic wines.
You will then continue to a historic winery in the Peza region, one of the area’s most established estates. Here, you’ll explore the vineyards and cellar and enjoy a second guided tasting of five premium wines, paired with local delicacies that highlight the flavors of the region.
The experience concludes with a relaxed lunch at a traditional tavern in the village of Peza. In a warm and authentic setting, you’ll enjoy seasonal Cretan dishes prepared with local ingredients, accompanied by house wine and raki, offering a true taste of the island’s culinary culture.
