Craft Beer, Porto Secrets & Wine Tour
Here is what's in store for you
Discover Porto through its vibrant beer and wine culture on this engaging tasting tour that blends tradition, local flavors, and lively atmosphere. This experience takes you into a charming local neighborhood where small producers, historic shops, and modern craft breweries showcase the diversity of Portuguese drinks and gastronomy.
Throughout the tour, you will explore the fascinating world of Portuguese beverages, from innovative craft beers to iconic northern Portuguese wines, including refreshing Vinho Verde and the world-famous Port wine. Along the way, you’ll learn about Portugal’s remarkable wine heritage — for example, the country is home to around 250 native grape varieties, one of the richest wine biodiversities in the world.
The journey includes visits to three carefully selected local venues. You’ll begin in a specialized wine cellar focused on small Port wine estates, where you’ll uncover the secrets behind the wine that made Porto famous worldwide. Next, you’ll visit a local microbrewery to taste a selection of craft beers that represent the city’s growing beer scene. The experience concludes in a traditional family-run mercearia, a historic grocery store where you’ll sample wines from small producers, including different expressions of the refreshing Vinho Verde.
Throughout the experience, drinks are paired with delicious petiscos, Portugal’s beloved small dishes, allowing you to enjoy authentic local flavors while discovering the city’s culture, history, and lifestyle.
